Continuing its year-long celebration of 100 years in the industry, Aston Martin arrived at the Goodwood Revival show in West Sussex in grand fashion. With a long history of racing and close ties to the historic racing community, Aston Martin provided both track cars and a period “motor show” display at the event.
The Goodwood Revival focuses on the “revival” period of classic cars, from 1948-1966. The timeframe was perfect for some of Aston’s most iconic vehicles, including the DBR1, DB3 and DB2/4. Uncommon Astons like the A3 (the oldest surviving Aston Martin), the Bulldog concept and the one-off 1961 Aston Martin Project 212 and One-77 cars.
Additionally, Aston displayed its new products at the event. The Rapide S and DB9 Coupe represented Aston’s current lineup and assured fans that the marque will be with us for some time.
