With all of the flooding in Colorado, people are hurting. As they work diligently to piece their lives back together and rebuild, they will benefit from the help of many, including Ford, Hyundai and Mazda.
If you are in the flood zone and you have Ford or Lincoln vehicles financed through Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln, Mazda or Volvo, you will be offered the option to delay your car payments for up to two months. Customers will be notified about this through postcards, but one can also call for information at 1-800-723-4016. This should be a great help for those scrambling to regain a stable roof over their heads and other necessities after these natural disasters.
Many automobiles were damaged beyond repair by the flooding, and Hyundai is offering a helpful solution to being found without a car in this situation: Customers will be given a $750 credit on a new Hyundai vehicle. This program began on September 18, and will continue through October for divers in the counties declared a disaster area by FEMA. In order to receive this credit one will need to provide a letter from their insurance company explaining the harm to the car and be able to prove residency in the affected zone. The following counties are eligible: Weld, Washington, Pueblo, Logan, Larimer, Jefferson, Fremont, El Paso, Denver, Clear Creek, Broomfield, Boulder, Arapahoe, and Adams.
Mazda donated $15,000 to The Humane Society of Boulder Valley and $25,000 to the American Red Cross. It understands that not only do people need help in this difficult time, but our animal friends deserve some support, too.
