One of the ten 1977 Lotus Esprit sports cars that was used in the James Bond film “The Spy Who Loved Me,” starring Roger Moore, was recently discovered in an abandoned storage container near New York City. The purchaser paid a whopping $100 for the container’s contents without knowing what was inside (shades of the A&E network’s Storage Wars TV show). Following a full restoration, the Esprit, which is actually a fully functional submarine and cannot be driven on land, sold for a cool one million dollars.
