Making your new Ford Fusion look just the way you want it to gets a little bit easier in 2014, as Ford has added a full custom body kit by 3dCarbon to its Official Licensed Accessories catalog. Ford’s official endorsement of the body kit is an indicator of the quality and styling of the package. It will be available directly from the dealer as an installed item.
Originally shown at SEMA in 2012, the 3dCarbon kit gives the Fusion a more aggressive, road-ready look with full cladding and an available decklid wing. A dual exhaust port with stainless steel surrounds provides a handsome finishing touch. The 3dCarbon kit’s components are made from high-quality, high-pressure injection molded urethane from the same suppliers that Ford and other manufacturers use, and it has also been crash-tested. Customers can order the kit pre-painted to match the car in Ford factory colors. 3dCarbon also provides a warranty for the kit that’s the same as Ford’s.
