Kia has spent the past couple of years expanding in all sorts of new directions, and it seems like there’s no part of the car market it’s not willing to take a stab at. The new Cadenza and K900 have broadened the range into large luxury sedans, and Kia has just released a teaser for a concept to debut in Detroit that goes in the opposite direction–a compact sports car.
Only a gold-tinted silhouette of the proposed concept has been released, but Kia says that it’s a 2+2 concept from its California design studio that’s intended to be equally adept on the street and the track. It’ll be officially unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in a few weeks.
