It’s very rare that a single manufacturer sweeps the North American Car and Truck of the Year, but Chevy’s pulled it off this year, with the Corvette and Silverado taking top honors. Both vehicles are all-new for 2014, and faced a pool of twenty to thirty challengers.
Finalists for Truck of the Year were the Acura MDX, Silverado and Jeep Cherokee, while the Corvette Stingray faced the Cadillac CTS and Mazda3.
This is the second Car of the Year trophy for the Corvette, which won in 1998.
