Kia’s dropped a new round of hints about the sports car concept that will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in a couple of weeks. A new photo is accompanied by a breathless press release revealing the use of twenty-inch wheels, a carbon-fiber front splitter, and a turbocharged 2.0 liter engine powering the rear wheels. Kia says the car, whose name is the GT4 Stinger, puts down 315 horsepower. Serious performance is hinted by functional brake-cooling ducts.
The GT4 Stinger provides a masterful update of Kia’s signature grille, a low and wide mouth that features a striking lit surround and sports vertical LED headlamps. It looks like a promising start to a Detroit show-stopper. We can’t wait to see the rest!
