With a new entry on the color palette for the 2014 SRT Viper comes an opportunity that could put your name on the car if you win its SRT Viper Color Contest.
October 17 was the first day of the “SRT Viper Color Contest.” Fans get can submit their ideas for an official 2014 SRT Viper exterior color name. The winning contestant wins a trip to the 2014 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona at the Daytona International Speedway, and will also get to spend some time with Viper’s Design team throughout the weekend.
Ralph Gillies, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Street and Racing Technology (SRT), said, “The SRT Viper Color Contest gives our Viper enthusiasts an opportunity to be original, creative and contribute to the exterior design of our flagship American supercar. Already available in a wide array of exterior color combinations, which provides our owners a way to personalize their cars, this contest is a great way for our dedicated fans to connect with the SRT brand and become an authentic part of Viper history.”
The contest runs until this Thursday October 24, so get those entries in now by navigating over to www.driveSRT.com/colorcontest. One can register and submit their entry for the new exterior color of the SRT Viper at that website. After the submission period ends, SRT design staff will choose their top three favorites and will be presented on www.driveSRT.com, where fans can vote for their favorite of those three. The public will have the opportunity to vote from November 4 through November 11.
