The elegant Maserati Quattroporte is already a serious fashion statement, so it seems only natural that Maserati would team up with renowned men’s clothier Ermengildo Zegna for a limited-edition model that’s coming in 2014.
A conceptual version of the collaboration will be shown at Frankfurt this week. Intended to create “a unique new look in colour scheme, materials and finish,” the Quattroporte Ermengildo Zegna Limited Edition concept features unique paint with ultra-fine aluminum pigments over a gloss-black primer to simulate the fluidity of metal. Intended as a “play between the classical and the contemporary,” the limited-edition Quattroporte also sports interior fabric and leather upholstery inspired by Zegna’s men’s fashion collections.
